DEI&J CREATING INCLUSIVE WORKPLACES 2021 SESSION 2 OF FIVE PART SERIES AND NETWORKING

Building Inclusive Work Cultures: Everyday Actions that Lead to Safety and Belonging
Cultural Alignment: Building Inclusion and Belonging into Your Leadership Model
Belonging at Work: Building a Psychologically Safe Culture

Presented by Laurie Battaglia, MSOD, PCC

How do you build inclusion and psychological safety into your organization's culture? It happens through a series of everyday actions that leaders and team members engage in. Through two core principles of Honoring the People and Building a Safe and Healthy Environment, we'll work together to define what it means to build a psychologically safe, aligned and inclusive team and workplace. Expect to interact with others on the call throughout our 90 minutes together!

Laurie is CEO of Aligned at Work® in Scottsdale, AZ. Her company works with leaders to solve people problems before they become profit problems. Aligned Leader training, their signature program, shows a measurable ROI of 113% for leaders and organizations. Laurie is the creator of the Aligned for Life Model for integrated work and life, and the Aligned Leader Model for inclusive leadership.  Laurie's book “Aligned Workplaces: Integrating Life and Work – A Practical Guide for Leaders and Teams” walks people through the Aligned for Life model, then provides helpful Team Leader Guides for integrating the 5 elements to create inclusive cultures at work. Her 35+ year career as a corporate leader spanned the smallest to the largest of companies.
