Join us for a half day of experiential learning with Dr. Miles H. Overholt! Large Systems change is almost an oxymoron. Transformation efforts fail at a staggering rate and mergers and acquisitions at an even higher rate. And this is not to imply that individual or transformation is easy or succeeds at a high rate. Changing a system, regardless of size, is difficult.
Why large systems change is so difficult? Dr. Miles Overholt will lead participants in an exploration of the complexity of large systems through a two-year failed transformational effort. He will involve participants in analyzing the longitudinal culture measurement data, share many of the moving parts within the system (people, processes, politics, strategy, and change tactics) and engage all in re-designing a failed transformation.

Dr. Miles H. Overholt is the founder and CEO of Strategia Analytics which helps organizations align and transform their strategy and culture. He has over 35 years of consulting and research expertise in strategy execution and organizational transformation. He is creator of multiple organizational assessments designed to pragmatically manage and change cultures at the individual, team, and organization levels. He designs, develops and executes strategic transformation initiatives for the entire organization, teams or individuals. He is the author of Building Flexible Organizations: A People-Centered Approach, a book and concept ahead of its time in describing how employees and organizations fit to create high performance. He also is the author of numerous articles on strategy execution, change processes, organizational behavior, and organizational alignment. His clients include the U.N. World Food Programme, Toshiba Electronics Europe, Chase Manhattan Bank, Johnson and Johnson and many others. |
