Dr. Solange Charas

Dr. Charas is the Founder and CEO of HC Moneyball, an Adjunct Professor, and a governance researcher and thought-leader in use of human capital analytics.

Solange is an Adjunct Professor of Human Capital Management at Columbia, USC, University of Washington and NYU.  She also is a Distinguished Principal Research Fellow (DPRF) at the The Conference Board, where she leads the Strategic Human Capital Institute in the Human Capital Center.  She has been a board director, chaired the Audit and Compensation Committees of two public companies and held CHRO position at three.

Dr. Charas focuses on data analytics to quantify the material (financial) impact on human capital on corporate performance and understand the effectiveness of human capital programs in generating HCROI.  She is the funder of HC Moneyball, which provides Human Capital analytics for use in quantifying and optimizing the ROI on human capital investments.  She serves on the ISO TC-260 committee responsible for all human capital standards.

She earned a PhD in Management (focused on Board Governance) from Case Western Reserve University, an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management, and a BA in International Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
